Fact: your film could win

The end of May approaches, and that means we're five weeks away from the closing date for sumissions to the 2021 Trail Film Awards, powered by Saucony South Africa.

It doesn't have to be a high quality production. We're looking for novelty, for impact, for creativity. You can do this using your phone. So film, edit, upload to your preferred video platform, and email me the link. That's it. We'll then embed it on the Trail Film Awards page for others to see.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you create.

Saucony is offering one Haul Lite hydration pack worth R2,599 each to the film our judges deem the most entertaining in each of three categories:

Documentary: Factual insights into a run, runner, club, or aspect of trail running. No time limit.

Event: Documenting a trail running event. No time limit.

Short: A film two minutes long, or shorter, on any trail running genre or topic.
